Roadpost Delivers Trade-Up to Iridium® Program

'Reliability to the Rescue' Offer Provides Rebates Up to $700 for Customers Switching to Iridium

TORONTO, ON (February 11, 2008) -- Roadpost Inc., a leader in global satellite voice and data communications, announced today their participation in "Trade-Up to Iridium", a rebate program that provides pricing incentives for North American customers switching from Globalstar to Iridium. The program, themed "Reliability to the Rescue," is targeted toward government users, first responders, educational institutions and relief organizations that have purchased satellite phone service that they may now be finding unreliable.

The program offers rebates of up to $700 for North American Globalstar subscribers switching to Iridium. Through June 30, 2008, Roadpost can provide a rebate of up to $400 on a new Iridium 9505A satellite phone to qualified customers turning in an existing Globalstar handset. It will also provide up to $300 in airtime credits when signing up for a qualified Iridium North American calling plan.

"We chose to participate in Iridium's program in order to continue delivering the best possible value to our customers," said Morris Shawn, President and CEO of Roadpost. "We also believe that it is important that reliable satellite communications is provided to critical service and support organizations."

Last year, a Frost & Sullivan White Paper, commissioned by Iridium ("Satellite Telephone Quality of Service Comparison," February 26, 2007), reported that " ... calls through the Iridium system are nearly three times more likely to be successfully connected and completed, without being dropped, than calls placed through the Globalstar network."

Frost & Sullivan's side-by-side comparative tests, conducted in Northern California, revealed that Iridium's first-time connection rate was better than 99 percent, compared to 51.3 percent for Globalstar phones.
