The optional inReach weather forecast service provides detailed updates directly to your inReach device*, compatible smartphone or tablet paired with the Earthmate® app, so you’ll know what conditions to expect en-route. Basic and premium weather packages are available.

- or by manually entering GPS coordinates for a location
*Note: Weather forecasts are available for inReach SE, inReach SE+, inReach Explorer and inReach Explorer+.
Basic
The Basic forecast includes temperature, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure details for 2-days in 2-6 hour intervals. Source: Forecast.io
Basic Marine
In addition to the details of the Basic forecast, the Basic Marine forecast also includes wave height, current, and visibility details. Source: OCENS
Premium
The Premium forecast includes temperature, precipitation, wind speed and direction, and atmospheric pressure details for seven days. Premium includes a 7-day forecast reported in varying intervals (1-2 hour intervals for the first day, 3-6 hour intervals for the next day and 12-hour intervals for the remaining 5 days).
